Our Events

The Group hosts four lunch events each year, providing a regular forum for discussion and networking between our members, ambassadors, high commissioners, dignitaries, senior policymakers and business leaders. We also hold an annual drinks reception at the House of Commons, which has become a key fixture in the calendar and an opportunity to connect in a uniquely Westminster setting.

In addition to these core events, we work closely with Embassies and High Commissions to organise meetings throughout the year, ensuring our members have direct access to senior African representatives. The Group also supports trade missions to Africa, creating practical opportunities to build relationships on the ground and explore new areas of collaboration.

Our events regularly welcome Secretaries of State, Ministers and Members of Parliament, as well as Ambassadors and High Commissioners from across Africa. This mix of political, diplomatic and business perspectives makes the Group a valuable platform for strengthening UK–Africa engagement.
